Yes, during the Nurturing phase (second 50% of breeding), Wolves can attempt to steal the Gen 2 Sheep. During Courting (first 50%), Wolves can break in for CHOPS from the Butcher but cannot steal the Gen 2 (which hasn’t been born yet). Protect your Sheep with Farmers to fend off Wolves.
